This is the year I will be 90 years old. I am the only one of my parents children to live so long. Probably because modern medicine has helped me to live longer than other generations.

In many ways I have had a good life, never a lot of money, in fact lived only week to week for many years. Never lived beyond our means and never got into debt.

Had a husband who told me almost every day that he loved me. That is the key to happiness.

Had some very sad events, the sorrow never goes away, but life goes on and we all handle grief in our own way.
