Meme

I don’t know what “meme” means. I’ve never thought to ask or look it up, but it’s being used more and more these days. Onwards, I love a good survey! 

Ten years ago I was:

In the final stages of sophomore year of high school, probably wondering if Kevin Gorman would sign my yearbook. Looking forward to enjoying my last summer without a real job, where I could go to the community pool everyday and eat my body weight in super ropes, fun dips and blue snow cones. I was also probably wondering when I would start making friends that actually called me to do things and get that long-awaited first kiss (yes, I was a late bloomer). 

Five things on today’s to do list:

1. Meet Christina who has just returned from London for lunch in Bryant Park.
2. Buy Joshua Radin tickets when they go on sale at 12 noon.
3. Get afternoon drinks with work folks to celebrate our first summer Friday.
4. Take photos of Manhattanhenge.
5. Buy new ringtone for my phone, Nelly Furtado’s “Say It Right” isn’t cool anymore. 

Things I’d do if I were a billionaire:

1. Depart on a year-long trip around the world like my brother did. 
2. Set my parents up in their dream house in Australia, allowing my Dad to retire.
3. Make monthly trips to Australia to see my grandparents.
4. Put away a ton of it for all the things that are important down the road. 
5. Buy all the fancy gadgets/computers I can stand. 
6. Invest in independent films.

Three bad habits:

1. Fork in the right hand, knife in the left.
2. I oversleep constantly.
3. Lack of patience.

3. Front desk girl at Overland Park Racquet Club.
4. Server at Tippin’s pie restaurant.
5. Assistant to Lighting Engineer at college theater. 
6. Associate Producer on film called Zombie Prom.
