Meme
I don’t know what “meme” means. I’ve never thought to ask or look it up, but it’s being used more and more these days. Onwards, I love a good survey!
Ten years ago I was:
In the final stages of sophomore year of high school, probably wondering if Kevin Gorman would sign my yearbook. Looking forward to enjoying my last summer without a real job, where I could go to the community pool everyday and eat my body weight in super ropes, fun dips and blue snow cones. I was also probably wondering when I would start making friends that actually called me to do things and get that long-awaited first kiss (yes, I was a late bloomer).
Five things on today’s to do list:
- Meet Christina who has just returned from London for lunch in Bryant Park.
- Buy Joshua Radin tickets when they go on sale at 12 noon.
- Get afternoon drinks with work folks to celebrate our first summer Friday.
- Take photos of Manhattanhenge.
- Buy new ringtone for my phone, Nelly Furtado’s “Say It Right” isn’t cool anymore.
Things I’d do if I were a billionaire:
- Depart on a year-long trip around the world like my brother did.
- Set my parents up in their dream house in Australia, allowing my Dad to retire.
- Make monthly trips to Australia to see my grandparents.
- Put away a ton of it for all the things that are important down the road.
- Buy all the fancy gadgets/computers I can stand.
- Invest in independent films.
Three bad habits:
- Fork in the right hand, knife in the left.
- I oversleep constantly.
- Lack of patience.

- Server at Tippin’s pie restaurant.
- Assistant to Lighting Engineer at college theater.
- Associate Producer on film called Zombie Prom.
