I spent Tuesday of this week in Rhinebeck, New York with my boss and her family at their summer house.
We picked apples and rasberries in an orchard, ate lunch outside under a big umbrella, went for a bike ride through rolling hills full of rustic farmhouses, explored an old cemetery, played around in the hot tub, and hiked up a big hill to take in a view of the surrounding catskill mountains.
As I was laying in the hammock, breathing deeply and silently watching a nearby grazing deer, I thought to myself…why do I choose to live in a concrete jungle?
Still trying to answer that question.
A few photos to follow from a really great day…
