hi, my name is lauren. i live in new york, and occasionally sydney.

here is a portion, a collection of my life.

some of it has to do with travel. a lot of it has to do with photos. a bit of family, a bit of friends. a whole bunch of nonsense, really.

drop me a line sometime, i would love to hear from you: laurenfarmer (dot) blog (at) gmail (dot) com

Back in October I went to Tokyo for the weekend. As you do.
My friend Angus gave me his recommendation for “the best ramen.” The place happened to be around the corner from my hotel in Shibuya and let me tell you, it was freaking delicious.
My uni friend Nicole is in Tokyo now, her first stop on an around-the-world trip. I gave her some recs, one of which was the ramen place. Couldn’t remember the name of it, but I had taken a photo of the outside, sent it to her and explained in ridiculous detail how she would get to it from her hotel. She’s there right now.
My photo on the left, hers on the right. Two photos taken a few months apart, by two friends that haven’t seen each other in years.
I love when the world feels small.
