This weekend.
Was nuts.
On Saturday, I biked around the perimeter of Manhattan with Scott. Well, most of the perimeter, except for when we got mildly lost and took the scenic route through Spanish Harlem. It was tons of fun, and a great way to see the city.
On Sunday, I partook in an epic photo trip.
Melissa, Matt and I headed out to the New Calvary Cemetery in Woodside, Queens. It was hotter than hell. I was struggling with the heat, but managed to get a few decent shots in before hiding under the shade of a big tree. If you have any interest in very large and very old cemeteries, I recommend you check this one out.
When we’d finished at New Calvary, Matt and I parted ways with Mel and headed out to Bayside, Queens to the old hospital at Fort Totten. Matt is a pro when it comes to photographing abandoned buildings, and I felt fortunate to have him with me on what is undoubtedly my most thrilling photo trip to date.

A few photos from the cemetery (full set here) and hospital (full set here) are to follow…
