We stumbled through a lonely, forbidden parking lot to some rustic train tracks, leading into a bridge that we had hoped to check out.

But we paused. I’ve heard too many horror stories about kids with the best of intentions losing a limb or way worse so when Mel asked “how do you feel about these tracks?” I quickly responded “I wouldn’t do it, but you can.” Her response? “Nah, me either.”

“But…I’ll happily climb that tower.”

Turned out to be quite wobbly up there.

Last weekend…Emily, Melissa and I packed our bags and headed to Minneapolis to support our friends Matt & Maddy and The Liz Logelin Foundation at it’s annual 5K and Gala.

We had an incredible time and made lots of new friends.

We managed to fit in a photo excursion to the Warehouse District of downtown. A few photos are to follow.
