A bunch of us ate our weight in fried chicken yesterday at Katie’s birthday picnic in Central Park. It was so, so fun.
Then we played around with daytime flashes, and got some pretty great shots.
This is Marc.
The one’s Melissa took are awesome. This one is my favorite.

This is why I love Twitter - start from the bottom and read up. Commentary provided by my friend Lauren. This made me LOL. via brieflynoted

As many of you know, half of Times Square is now closed to traffic, and open only to pedestrians, speckled with flimsy lawn chairs. I walk through Times Square every morning on my way to work (I know, torture party of one) and while it doesn’t seem to be affecting traffic in any way, and makes for some good photo ops, it’s just bizarre! I mean, this dude was sleeping! In the middle of Times Square! I’m hoping they’ll consider planting some grass or drop in some more permanent seating.

My friend Marin’s web series, Like So Many Things, premieres tonight on IFC. It’s the first time IFC has ever shown a web series on their TV channel.

The first two episodes show at 11:30pm tonight.

Or, check out all the eps on ifc.com.

Disney to remake ‘Flight of the Navigator’
“Disney is readying another launch of sci-fi adventure movie “Flight of the Navigator.”The 1986 original told the story of a 12-year-old boy who is abducted by an alien spacecraft in 1978 and reappears eight years later, still the same age and with no memory of what happened. NASA scientists discover a connection between the boy and a downed spacecraft and try to exploit the boy, who ultimately escapes with the ship and attempts to reunite with his family. The movie grossed only $17 million when it was released but was later rediscovered on VHS, becoming a cult hit.”(via:thr)
‘Flight of the Navigator’ was a film that many of us have an affinity for because of we watched it as children and it had this precious creative magic to it that no remake can ever replicate. That said, if Disney wants to remake this film, I’m actually interested to see how a modern update of ‘Navigator’ would turn out. There are far worse things for Disney to remake.

Oh, really! One of my all-time favorite movies. I’m pretty excited about this.
Max: I told you, I blew a fuse when I totaled that electrical tower. I was checking out some daisies.
